The problem is, there aren't many things you can actually wear for Something Blue. Sure, there are creative solutions people write about, like blue flowers in your bouquet. But you can't wear that. So, the tired old garter ends up being the last-minute solution for many. But for most brides these days, the garter is just something to be tossed.

I thought about the garter toss for a while. I figured the only reason brides were still doing that was because there really wasn't much else out there. How about something new for Something Blue? Hm mm, that was tricky. What can you actually wear that can still be hidden if you want it to be? The answer came from a most unexpected inspiration.

I was working on a project once that was for kids. Kids like to get stuff. So on the back of each package, I put on a little peel-off temporary tattoo. And then one day I married the two: Bridal Tattoos for Something Blue! You can wear it, you can hide it, you can have fun with it!

So instead of a garter toss, my idea was to toss the garter altogether. That's the moment when I came up with something new for Something Blue. That's how I Do Tattoo was born.
